Privacy Policy

ForgedOdds is racing analysis software for entertainment and information. It is not a betting service and gives no guarantees. Ages 21+. Help: 1-800-GAMBLER.

What we collect

Account data (if you sign up): email and a salted password hash (PBKDF2). We never store plaintext passwords.
Billing: handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription IDs and status — not full card numbers.
Usage: per-user daily counts of Pro screenshot analyses to enforce fair-use limits.
Screenshots (Pro): image bytes are sent to our server and then to Google Gemini for extraction, then discarded — we do not keep a screenshot archive.
Optional BYOK: if you paste your own Gemini key in Settings, it stays in your browser localStorage and is sent only to Google — not to our servers.
Local-only data: saved races and the results log live in your browser localStorage unless you export them.

Cookies

We use an HttpOnly session cookie (fo_session) to keep you signed in. It is not used for third-party advertising.

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google Gemini (optional AI vision). Each has its own privacy policy.

Retention

Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists. You may email a deletion request to the operator; we will remove account rows we control (billing history may remain in Stripe as required).
